A new adventure is always a little fun, exciting, and just a little nerve-wracking. Impressing your own mark upon the world, being online or physical, can be a little unnerving. Sharing your thoughts and ideas in such a modern forum, is not a new concept, but it is a new land that I am personally entering. As long as you don’t mind my stumbles, I hope you enjoy what I have to offer here.

And just what is it, you may ask, that I do offer? My hobbies and interests are widely varied, often quite eccentricly. I love reading, having been a voracious devourer of books since a young age. I enjoy all of the many genres of fiction, as well as non-fiction that enriches my knowledge of the world around me. It has been many years since I really put words to paper. Of course I have dabbled here and there, penning a couple of poems during times when the world darkened and my soul needed the release. I hope to start again, to write seriously as I did in years past. My other passion, which I actually would like to combine with writing, is photography. Wildlife is my passion, although I have practiced on a few humans as well. My dream is to put together a wildlife series for younger readers, combined with images I have captured.

So what can you expect to see here? Reviews of books I have read, pieces I have written and seek honest critiques of, photography tips and techniques. And who knows? Perhaps I’ll even add some other knowledge I have gained and wish to share. For example, have you ever had to tube feed a seahorse? I have.
